Supervisor Cast Shop

About the role

Supervisor Cast Shop position are responsible for making planning casting by VCBU by model and by caster, based on information from senior supervisor or cast shop manager. Reports to Senior Supervisor with focus on caster and hustler coordination in supervisory work area. Brings the team to achieve specified targets by 1F'A, TTL, Clay loss, TWH, Total casting and clay reject while optimizing resources and tools and implementing work safety.

Key responsibilities

• Control working procedures with safety briefing before work starts and evaluate working results from yesterday and working plan for today corresponding with targets
• Control casting support tools, pump pressure supply, return pump, molds, blue tank filling, slip rheology and test spot
• Control caster working procedure corresponding with work process (SOP), control uncasting mold and record problems with team coordination
• Determine casting time and setting time depending on models
• Control finishing, draining, demolding results, thickness measurement, defect finding, and green finishing control
• Evaluate working results in general and plan next day working activities
• Implement safety procedures and healthy practices suitable with working scope
• Implement environment procedures suitable with working scope
• Follow and obey company regulations related to SHE

About you

• Minimum Education: Bachelor Degree
• Minimum Experience: 5 years working experience in manufacturing industry, preferably in ceramic sanitary/ cast shop
• Understand and capable to do casting process
• Capable to adapt quickly to new model casting processes
• Capable to plan and evaluate daily activity
• Capable to use computer and worksheet
• Understand and able to implement improvement tools such as Six Sigma, PDCA, etc (KAIZEN minded)
• Have good leadership and communication skills
• Capable to train trainers
• Understand and capable to implement ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Have ability to create good working atmosphere and organize team work
• Have ability to evaluate subordinate performance and direct subordinates
