The Shift Supervisor is an entry-level management position responsible for day-to-day supervision of all team members. This position provides an opportunity for first time managers to gain managerial skills including time management & prioritization, floor leadership, exceptional guest service and complaint resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day supervision of all Team Members on the floor
• Organizing each shift using proper positioning to best take advantage of team members strengths
• Setting shift goals and objectives that align with the priorities of the business
• Managing the flow of service throughout the shift
• Maintaining focus on hospitality, speed of service and order accuracy
• Ensuring all daily tasks and other assigned duties are completed
• Leading by example to ensure all team members work in a safe and productive manner
• Coaching and developing team members
• Completing daily logs
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation
• Resolving customer complaints effectively to maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction

Availability:

• Must be flexible as your work schedule may vary week-to-week based on business needs, while fostering a fair work/life balance. Monthly schedules may require some afternoon and weekend shifts.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work, including transportation to locations with no public transportation
• Tim Hortons (or other quick service restaurant) experience is a strong asset
• First Aid / Food Safety / WHMIS training is an asset
• Strong communication skills
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team under pressure
