We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor to join our team in East Tamaki. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for leading a team and ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant day-to-day operation of the warehouse while delivering outstanding service to our customers.

What you will do:

In this role you will:

• Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure safety, service, quality, and productivity targets are achieved.
• Manage workflow, labour allocation, staffing levels, and overtime across shifts.
• Monitor and drive performance against customer SLAs, KPIs, and operational objectives.
• Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, processed, and dispatched within agreed timeframes.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with DHL and customer safety standards.
• Lead toolbox meetings, performance dialogues, and team briefings.
• Coach, develop, and support team members to achieve individual and team objectives.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback and development opportunities.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and workforce planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using DHL's First Choice methodology.
• Maintain accurate operational records, reporting, and training documentation.
• Work collaboratively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver operational excellence.

What you will bring:

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or distribution environment.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience managing teams in a fast-paced operational setting.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Sound understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and productivity measures.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to prioritise workloads and make effective decisions under pressure.
• A commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• A forklift/MHE licence (desirable).
• A good level of written and verbal communication skills.
