SUPERVISOR

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Marina Business Holdings. This is a full-time position based in Sungai Petani, Kedah, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations within our manufacturing, transport and logistics division. As Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and leading your team to achieve company objectives. Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of your assigned team or department
• Monitor work quality and ensure all tasks meet company standards and specifications
• Allocate work assignments and manage team scheduling to optimise productivity
• Conduct regular team briefings and communicate important information from management
• Identify performance issues and implement corrective actions promptly
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to team activities and performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Support training and development initiatives for team members
• Report on team performance, challenges and achievements to senior management
• Manage inventory and equipment as required for operational needs
• Foster a positive work environment and resolve workplace disputes professionally

What we're looking for

• Proven supervisory experience in manufacturing, transport, logistics or a related operational environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with operational management software
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Physical capability to perform duties in an active operational environment
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing business needs
• A relevant qualification in supervision, management or a related field would be advantageous
