Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate retail sales teams to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and stock replenishment.
• Manage employee orientation, training, and development to foster a high-performing team.
• Conduct interviewing and recruiting efforts to attract top talent for the store.
• Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations accurately.
• Supervise shift management, ensuring smooth store functions during all hours of operation.
• Implement inventory control measures, pricing strategies, and merchandising standards to maximize sales.
• Communicate effectively with team members through managerial communication skills to promote a collaborative environment.
• Assist with purchasing decisions, budgeting, and operational management to meet business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer service protocols.

Experience

• Proven supervisory or assistant manager experience within the retail industry is essential.
• Demonstrated success in retail sales management and team supervision.
• Strong knowledge of retail math, including basic math skills for cash handling, pricing, and inventory calculations.
• Experience with POS systems, wireless sales, grocery store operations or similar environments is preferred.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating effectively with diverse customer bases and team members.
• Familiarity with recruiting processes, employee orientation programs, and training & development initiatives.
• Excellent organizational skills combined with time management expertise to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
• Previous experience in inventory management, merchandising, stock control, and operational oversight is highly desirable.

Pay: $25.60 - $30.83 per hour
