Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Supervisor to lead our retail team and ensure smooth store operations. In this role, you will oversee daily activities, manage staff performance, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive sales, maintain inventory accuracy, and foster a positive shopping environment. Duties

• Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management
• Lead, train, and develop team members to enhance their skills in sales, customer service, inventory management, and merchandising
• Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, and purchasing to ensure product availability and optimal stock levels
• Manage scheduling, shift assignments, and workload distribution to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Conduct employee orientation sessions, interviews for new hires, and ongoing performance evaluations
• Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to meet or exceed sales targets
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures

Requirements

• Proven supervisory or assistant manager experience within the retail industry or grocery store environment
• Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability in negotiation, recruiting, training & development, and team management
• Proficiency in retail math including pricing calculations, budgeting, and basic bookkeeping
• Experience with operational management tasks such as merchandising, stocking, and inventory control
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
• Knowledge of retail industry sales team management practices and customer service excellence
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong leadership qualities with a focus on motivating staff and fostering a positive work environment

Pay: $30,000.00 - $70,000.14 per month
