Supervisor

Chai & Bites Cafeteria LLC, a small and growing cafeteria in Al Satwa, Dubai, is looking for a reliable, hands-on and responsible FOH & BOH Supervisor to oversee the daily shift and coordinate both our front-of-house and kitchen teams.

The ideal candidate should be able to lead by example, manage staff, ensure SOP compliance, monitor customer and delivery orders, handle cash and POS responsibilities, coordinate stock, maintain cleanliness and hygiene, and resolve customer concerns professionally.

This is a hands-on supervisory role, not a desk position. We need someone who can confidently take charge of the shift, assist the team when needed, identify problems, take action, follow up, and keep the operation running smoothly even when the Owner is not present.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate FOH & BOH staff
• Ensure SOPs, hygiene and cleanliness standards are followed
• Monitor dine-in, takeaway and delivery orders
• Handle POS, cash and proper till handovers
• Track delivery orders and delays
• Handle customer complaints and maintain feedback records
• Monitor stock and coordinate replenishment
• Assign duties and manage staff performance
• Conduct proper opening, closing and shift handovers
• Report cash discrepancies, operational issues and staff concerns
• Assist FOH and BOH during busy periods

Requirements:

• Previous restaurant, cafeteria, hospitality or food-service experience
• Supervisory/team-lead experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Honest, organized and responsible
• Able to handle cash and customer complaints
• Able to work under pressure
• Proactive and able to make decisions without constant supervision
• Willing to be hands-on and assist the team during busy hours

Salary: AED 2,700/month starting
After 3 months: Performance review; salary increases to AED 3,000/month if performance and responsibilities are handled satisfactorily.

• 12-hour duty (including 1 hour break)
• Shift: 1:30 pm - 1:30 am (Shift varies as per requirement)
• 1 day off per week

• Shift schedule within restaurant operating hours: 10:00 AM–1:30 AM
• Candidates living in or near Al Satwa/Dubai are preferred
• Own visa is preferred / Tourist visa is accepted. Visa can be processed under the company.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the shift.

Pay: AED2,700.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
