Supervisor

We are looking for team leaders to supervise our operations departments such as Prime Mover, Reefer, Lashing and IGH.

Job Description

• Supervise and manage day-to-day activities to meet the schedule, quality, and safety objectives

• Assist the Operations Manager in managing the staff and workplace

• Implement and oversee safe practices at the workplace

• Handle manpower issues including duty roster, work permit, vaccinations and accommodation

• Liaise with customer and prepare necessary reports as requested

• Monitor materials and inventory on site to ensure that the staff are equipped with the necessary PPE and gear

• Location: Pasir Panjang Port Terminal

Job requirements

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in the specific port-handling operations
• Able to work shifts and weekends
• Effective people-manager with a positive attitude
• Good command of written and spoken English and preferably one more spoken language
• Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
