Supervisor

Summary
We are looking for an experienced individual who will be responsible and working with the manager as the person-in-charge for the overall management of Silver Manor Residential Care Home. This individual would be responsible for assisting in the planning, developing, directing, and monitoring all operational, administrative, resident relations and fiscal activities for the facility’s programs and services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensures the quality and appropriateness of resident care meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
• Ensure that shifts and scheduling is complete with adequate coverage for employees and residents
• Ensures compliance with applicable legal and regulatory guidelines and standards.
• Monitors monthly performance of facility in relation to budget and intervenes as needed.
• Ensures employee performance meets or exceeds expectations and periodic performance appraisals are conducted on a timely basis.
• Makes sure facility is a safe, clean, comfortable, and appealing environment for residents, patients, visitors and staff in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines.
• Ensures all required records are maintained and submitted, as appropriate, in an accurate and timely manner.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
• Maintaining the monthly receivables
• Maintaining the weekly/monthly RTA spreadsheets and accounts
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum three to five (3-5) years experience at a residential care home or nursing home in the State of Connecticut
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Minimum Education: College Degree Preferred.

Physical Demands & Environment

Required to respond to critical issues on a 24/7 basis. Working in normal office environment, employee may be required to sit, bend, stoop, use keyboard, see, talk and hear. Employee may need to take on a shift if an attendant calls out.
