Supervisor – The Reindeer

£14 per hour | Full time | Approx. 40 hours per week

The Reindeer has been open since July, and we're building something we're really proud of.

We're a village pub with a strong local following and a real sense of community. We're focused on restaurant-quality food, excellent service and high standards, and we're looking for a confident and experienced Supervisor to join our team.

Working alongside our management team, you'll play an important role in keeping the pub running smoothly and making sure our guests receive the level of service we expect.

The role

As Supervisor, you'll be hands-on and involved in the day-to-day running of the pub. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the team during busy services
• Running shifts and taking responsibility when the manager isn't on site
• Maintaining our high standards of service, food and cleanliness
• Welcoming guests and making sure they have a great experience
• Dealing confidently with customer queries and resolving issues
• Opening and closing the pub
• Supporting with bookings and guest enquiries
• Helping with stock checks and deliveries
• Supporting the management team with ordering and stock control
• Training and supporting newer members of the team
• Keeping an eye on general maintenance and making sure the pub is always looking its best
• Helping create a positive, friendly and professional atmosphere for both our guests and the team

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in a supervisory or senior hospitality role
• Is confident leading a team during a busy service
• Understands what great restaurant-quality service looks like
• Has high standards and pays attention to detail
• Is friendly, approachable and confident with customers
• Is organised, reliable and takes responsibility
• Is happy to be hands-on and lead by example
• Enjoys working as part of a small team
• Wants to be part of a pub that's becoming an important part of its local community

About The Reindeer

We're still relatively new, having opened in July, and we're building a pub that we want the local community to be proud of.

We're ambitious about our food, service and standards, but we're also passionate about being a welcoming village pub where people know they'll receive great hospitality every time they visit.

£14 per hour
Approximately 40 hours per week
5 days over 7, including evenings and weekends
