WE’RE HIRING – RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR

Paladar is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Restaurant Supervisor to join our team in London.

We’re an independent, busy Latin American restaurant, and we’re looking for someone confident, organised and hands-on who enjoys being at the heart of the operation.

The role

As Supervisor, you’ll play an important role in making sure the restaurant runs smoothly throughout the shift. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming, greeting and seating guests
• Managing your own section and ensuring excellent service
• Supporting and guiding the front-of-house team during service
• Liaising closely with our reservations team regarding bookings, tables and guest requests
• Managing the flow of the restaurant and making sure tables are turned efficiently
• Opening and closing the restaurant
• Completing opening and closing checks and ensuring the restaurant is ready for service
• Dealing confidently with guest queries and resolving any issues professionally
• Supporting the management team with the day-to-day running of the restaurant

We’re looking for someone who

• Has previous experience in a restaurant supervisor or senior FOH role
• Is confident leading a team during busy services
• Has excellent customer service and communication skills
• Is organised, reliable and able to work independently
• Has a good eye for detail and takes pride in the restaurant
• Can stay calm and positive when things get busy
• Is flexible and happy to get stuck in wherever needed

Previous London restaurant experience is a plus.
