About your new role

As an experienced Supervisor, you will join Pacific National's Queensland Coal team, based in Coppabella. You will lead frontline train crews and oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable service delivery while fostering a positive team culture.

What you will do

Prioritise safety in every moment, safely every day

• Lead and promote safety initiatives and compliance across operations
• Manage train crew performance, rostering and operational requirements
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, including onboarding new drivers
• Support incident management and workplace issue resolution
• Collaborate with planning and service delivery teams to achieve operational outcomes

What we’re looking for

• Full Australian working rights
• Leadership experience within transport, logistics, mining, rail or heavy industry
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership
• Experience managing employee relations and workplace matters
• Ability to work flexibly to support operational requirements
• Rail industry experience is desirable but not essential
