Supervisor Engine Machining

Responsibilities:

• Safety & Compliance
  Ensure production operations comply with company safety standards, regulations, 5S activities, and quality management system requirements while promoting a safe working environment.
• Production Management
  Control and monitor production activities to achieve production plans and targets. Manage manpower, machines, and production resources, and monitor key KPIs including Productivity, OEE, Quality, and Delivery.
• Grinding Process Management
  Control and improve grinding processes for Crankshaft, Camshaft, and Connecting Rod production. Analyze process parameters, troubleshoot process issues, and reduce defects to maintain product quality.
• Autonomous Maintenance (AM)
  Lead and support Autonomous Maintenance activities in accordance with TPM principles, including machine inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance. Develop operators' ability to identify machine abnormalities at an early stage.
• Quality Improvement & Defect Analysis
  Analyze product defects and quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions, and apply problem-solving tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, PDCA, QC Story, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Cost Reduction & Continuous Improvement
  Support and implement cost reduction, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities to reduce Cycle Time, Scrap, Rework, Machine Downtime, and production losses. Improve tooling performance, tool life, process capability, and production costs.
• People Development
  Develop team members' knowledge and technical skills through training, coaching, guidance, Training Skill Matrix management, and performance monitoring.

Required Qualification/Experience :

• Diploma (Higher Vocational Certificate) or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in Machining or Grinding processes, including experience with Robot and Loader systems.
• Experience in leading or supervising production teams at Supervisor or Team Leader level.
• Knowledge or experience in Crankshaft, Camshaft, and Connecting Rod manufacturing processes will be an advantage.
