SUPERVISOR ENGINEERING - PRESS AREA

Job Decscription:

1. Supervise and ensure the reliability, availability, and optimal performance of granite tile press machines and supporting equipment.
2. Perform and supervise maintenance and repair activities on granite tile press machines to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize downtime.
3. Analyze machine breakdowns, conduct technical troubleshooting, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring problems.
4. Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maintain equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
5. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve machine performance, reduce downtime, and support production targets.
6. Lead and coordinate the Engineering team, ensuring effective collaboration with Production and other related departments to support smooth operations.
7. Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance procedures, 5S/6S practices, and established Engineering KPIs.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum SMK (Vocational High School) graduate majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, particularly in the maintenance and repair of press machines or similar industrial equipment.
3. Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and machine reliability.
4. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, as well as using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
5. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
6. Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work under pressure while handling routine maintenance activities.
7. Good command of English, both written and spoken, is preferred.
8. Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S/6S, and continuous improvement practices is an advantage.
