Supervisor General Ledger

About the role

PT Surya Multi Cemerlang, part of Grup Platinum Ceramics Industry, is a manufacturer of Granite Tile with brands Infiniti and Titanium. We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented professional with an interest in cost management to join our team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the process of recording and bookkeeping of financial transactions into the General Ledger
• Ensure journal transactions, accruals, adjustments, and reclassifications are recorded correctly and in accordance with accounting standards
• Conduct review and reconciliation of GL accounts, including cash/bank, receivables, payables, inventory, fixed assets, and other accounts
• Oversee the monthly closing process and ensure financial reports are completed on time
• Analyze account balances and mutations and follow up if there are discrepancies or non-conforming transactions
• Ensure transaction documentation and supporting documents are complete and in accordance with procedures

Qualification

• Minimum S1 degree in Accounting/Finance
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Accounting, preferably in manufacturing
• Understand full accounting cycle and month-end closing processes
• Master accounting journals, reconciliation, accruals, adjustments, and financial report preparation
• Understand PSAK and basics of Indonesian taxation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems (SAP/Oracle/Accurate or similar)
• Strong analytical ability, detail-oriented, able to work with deadlines, and possess leadership capability to supervise a team
