Supervisor in Training

The Depot Outlet is seeking a Part to Full Time Supervisor in Training who must be passionate about people and the mission of the Depot Outlet. The Supervisor in Training must maintain high levels of integrity and confidentiality as you will be responsible for the protection of sensitive information. This role will work closely with management, employees and volunteers. You will be expected to influence constructive change and nurture a positive work environment by being engaged, acting as point of contact with employees and customers and promptly and appropriately responding to their concerns. Upon successful completion of training and satisfactory probationary period the Supervisor in Training will be promoted to Supervisor.

Compensation:

Will be determined based upon individual experience, qualifications, reliability and initiative. Benefits available.

Required:

Minimum 32+ hours per week, 8+ hour shifts, some weekends

Ability to move, walk and stand for length of shift

Lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

2+ years of proven experience in customer service and/or retail roles

1+ years of proven experience in supervisory roles

Essential Functions:

Learn and excel at all levels of store operations; sorting, receiving, selling, cashiering, customer service and general duties.

Assist in training new hires and communicate process changes to existing employees.

Advise on disciplinary actions and conflict resolution, manage follow up and documentation on violations, corrective actions, discipline and enforcement of workplace policies.

Assist with recruitment and hiring.
