About the role

I-pex Indonesia Inc is seeking a skilled and dedicated Supervisor Injection to join our engineering team in Bintan, Riau Islands. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in overseeing injection moulding operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. As Supervisor Injection, you will be responsible for managing injection moulding processes, leading a team of technicians, and maintaining compliance with company standards and regulations. This position is integral to our manufacturing operations and directly impacts our product quality and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all injection moulding operations, ensuring processes run efficiently and meet established production schedules
• Monitor injection moulding equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities to minimise downtime
• Lead, supervise and train a team of injection moulding technicians, providing guidance on best practices and performance expectations
• Conduct regular quality inspections of moulded products to ensure they meet specifications and customer requirements
• Implement and enforce health, safety and environmental (HSE) protocols across the injection moulding department
• Identify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities, and work with management to implement enhancements
• Maintain accurate production records, reports and documentation in accordance with company standards
• Investigate and resolve production issues, troubleshooting equipment problems and process deviations
• Liaise with quality assurance, maintenance and other departments to ensure seamless operations
• Provide regular feedback and performance reviews to team members and support their professional development

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in injection moulding supervision or a similar supervisory role in manufacturing
• Proven track record of successfully managing production teams and achieving operational targets
• Strong technical knowledge of injection moulding processes, equipment and best practices
• In-depth understanding of quality control principles and ability to implement quality assurance measures
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical capabilities
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding manufacturing specifications
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards with knowledge of HSE protocols
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with production management systems and basic computer skills
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in manufacturing, engineering supervision or quality management are preferred
