Supervise, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians. Assign daily work tasks and ensure effective utilization of manpower. Provide technical guidance and support for troubleshooting complex issues. Conduct performance evaluations, training, and skill development plans. Promote teamwork, accountability, and a strong safety culture. Maintain production equipment in a manner that meets organization standards and ensure minimum equipment downtime. Inspect projects to ensure conformity to specifications, direct safety inspections and preventative maintenance programs. Ensure proper methods and procedures are followed to maintain, repair and service equipment, buildings and facilities in compliance with building codes and safety standards.

1. RESPONSIBILITIES (IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

1. Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements in the facility’s geographic location and: - The Global Operating System Plays; - ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management system standard; - IATF 16949 Technical Specification Management and Linamar Quality Basics system standards. 1. Support, Foster, Promote and Demonstrate Linamar’s Core Values and Leadership Behaviors. 2. Maintain balance between customer, employee and financial satisfaction by maximizing facility/department Performance Indicators to align to Linamar’s Stepping Stool of Success Strategy. 3. Support and maintain department lean initiatives as set out in LPS system requirements. - Maintain department 5S requirements. 2. Maintenance Operations - Work closely with the Maintenance Team to execute weekly schedules and prioritize work orders. - Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. - Support plant shutdowns, outages, and major repair activities. - Coordinate maintenance support for production lines. - Ensure timely response to equipment breakdowns to minimize production impact. - Monitor and improve equipment reliability and uptime. - Oversee accurate entry and completion of workorders in the CMMS system. - Manage contractor activities and ensure quality and safety compliance. 3. Safety and Continuous Improvement - Enforce OSHA regulation and plant safety policies. - Ensure proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures are followed. - Conduct safety meetings and daily turnover meetings. - Provide shift to shift updates to ensure continuity of operations. - Track and analyze maintenance KPIs to identify trends and opportunities. - Drive improvements in maintenance processes, productivity and equipment efficiency. - Develop and monitor detail overhaul, repair and preventative maintenance schedules for plant equipment and work within budgets given. - Maintain IFS and CMMS software and related documentation. - Work with maintenance buyers and arrange quotes from contractors - Identify, recommend, create training activities for the department - Complete performance evaluation for maintenance personnel			---		3.
