Supervisor, MDM (Master Data Management)

We are looking for a Supervisor, Master Data Management (MDM) to join our Pre-Production team and ensure that product master data is accurate, complete, and ready to support our products from testing through to mass production.

In this role, you will lead the management of product master data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive data quality, and continuously improve processes to enable a smooth and efficient production journey.

What you will do

• Lead the preparation and creation of Product Master Data for new products according to testing phase timelines and milestones.
• Maintain and update key master data, including BOM (Bill of Material), Routing, and product information in the system.
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness before information is released for production.
• Monitor timelines and proactively identify data-related risks that may impact testing or mass production.
• Analyze data issues, identify root causes, and drive systematic solutions and process improvements.
• Improve ways of working to reduce lead time, increase data accuracy, and improve overall process efficiency.
• Develop and maintain Master Data processes, documentation, and business rules.
• Manage data changes related to manufacturing processes, including ECRN (Engineering Change Request Notice), to support production changes.
• Collaborate closely with Product Development, Product Engineering, Scheduling, Production/Shop Floor, AX Super Users, Drop Planning, and Testing teams.
• Represent the Pre-Production function in relevant Data Management and Data Governance meetings and projects.
• Lead, coach, and mentor team members while monitoring team KPIs, setting goals, and ensuring quality of deliverables.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Data or Systems within a manufacturing environment.
• 3–5 years or more of experience in a Supervisor or people leadership role.
• Strong experience managing large and complex datasets with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of Data Standardization, data analysis, and systematic problem solving.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (AX System).
• Good command of Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of Production Routing and Manufacturing Processes is an advantage.
• Experience in Jewelry Manufacturing is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly meticulous and able to work effectively with tight timelines and changing priorities.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functions and locations.
• Good written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings and via email.
