Supervisor Mechanical - Structure

• Supervise structural steel fabrication, erection, installation, and alignment activities in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Lead and coordinate teams of fitters, fabricators, welders, riggers, and structural workers to achieve project objectives safely and efficiently.
• Review IFC drawings, method statements, work packages, and construction schedules before execution.
• Monitor productivity, workmanship, and progress to ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, and Construction teams to resolve technical and execution-related issues.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, equipment, tools, and materials at site.
• Supervise heavy lifting activities and ensure compliance with approved lifting plans and safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce site HSE requirements and company safety policies.
• Participate in inspections, punch listing, pre-commissioning support, and mechanical completion activities.
• Prepare daily progress reports, manpower allocation reports, and work-front availability updates.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical, Refinery, Industrial, or Heavy Construction projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role overseeing structural steel fabrication, erection, and mechanical construction activities.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel works, pipe racks, platforms, equipment supports, access structures, and heavy steel installations.
• Proficient in interpreting structural drawings, fabrication drawings, isometrics, construction specifications, and 3D models.
• Familiarity with international standards such as ASME, API, AWS, AISC, and project-specific requirements.
• Good understanding of lifting operations, rigging practices, permit-to-work systems, and construction safety requirements.
• GCC/Middle East project experience is preferred.
