Supervisor of Accounting

The Point Pleasant School District is seeking an experienced full-time Supervisor of Accounting responsible for the supervision of accounting staff and payroll. Experience in school Business Office operations including, but not limited to:

• Development of Board Secretary's Report and Annual ACFR
• Systems 3000 Accounting Software
• Quickbooks Accounting Software
• Preparation of Federal, State and Local financial reports
• Ability to implement accounting program prescribed by NJDOE, utilizing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Purchasing, Bidding, and Payroll
• Grant Software (EWEG, NJGMS)
• Free and Reduced Lunch approval process
• 1099 & 1095 Preparation
• Four-year Accounting Degree is required
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate is preferred
• 3-5 years of school or municipal accounting experience is preferred
