SUPERVISOR - SECURITY

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Security Supervisor to lead our security team at our factory in Sungai Petani, Kedah. You will be in charge of making sure the factory is safe and secure at all times, and that your team performs their duties properly every day.

This job is suitable for someone who is disciplined, responsible, and confident in leading a team.

What You Will Do

• Make sure there are enough security guards on duty every day.

• Prepare the monthly security duty roster and get approval from management.

• Report immediately to management or the person in-charge (Safety Officer / NSS on-duty) if any incident happens.

• Guide your team members to make sure they understand and complete their tasks.

• Prepare and submit a monthly security report to management.

• Make sure all security tools and equipment are in good condition and enough for daily use.

• Keep proper records for all security matters.

• Do regular rounds and checks at all security posts.

• Make sure all security guards clock in and out properly.

• Conduct briefings for the security team.

• Handle security team admin matters, such as leave applications and the fortnightly security meeting.

• Take care of company vehicles and report any vehicle problems to HR.

• Make sure all security staff assigned for outside duties have a valid driving license.

• Do regular spot-checks at workers' cabins/quarters.

• Keep all security posts and surrounding areas clean.

• Carry out other duties as assigned by management from time to time.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 5 years of working experience in security, with supervisory experience.

• Own a relevant security qualification/certificate.

• Basic computer literacy (able to type reports, use email, etc.).

• Able to communicate in English, both spoken and written.

• Able to lead and supervise a team of security guards.

• Good leadership skills and a responsible attitude.

• Willing to work shifts, including weekends/public holidays if required.

• Own transport and valid driving license preferred.
