What they need

SUPERVISOR – TIMEOUT CONTACT REQUIRED (PART-TIME)

At Able Minds we are dedicated to supporting and empowering tangata whaiora and their whānau affected by mental illness, addiction, and suicide.  As part of this our Timeout Contact division creates a safe space for tamariki to build meaningful relationships with significant whanau members.

To be successful in the role you will have an affinity for working with tamariki and caregivers from diverse backgrounds and, have an ability to build trust with families whilst implementing clear visitation standards yet remaining neutral with all parties involved.  The position is one of responsibility where the highest standard of care is required including adherence to the Health and Disability Code, ANZASCS Association standards and internal policies. You will be organised, efficient at reporting and be able to work autonomously but also be a team player.

While qualifications such as a Level 4 Mental Health Certificate or education qualification is desirable it is not necessary as training will be provided.
