About the role

Transport and deliver goods using company trucks according to predetermined schedules and destinations. Ensure the safety and security of goods throughout loading, transit, and delivery to customers, and maintain responsibility for vehicles and shipping documents.

Key responsibilities

• Transport and deliver goods using company trucks according to schedule and designated destinations
• Verify that transported goods match shipping documents, delivery documents, and warehouse team instructions
• Ensure security of goods during loading, transit, and customer receipt
• Inspect vehicle condition before and after use, including engine, brakes, tyres, oil, and fuel
• Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and report any damage or technical issues
• Ensure loading and unloading processes are safe and follow company procedures
• Confirm goods are received by the correct recipient and obtain proof of delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of company operational vehicles
• Comply with traffic regulations, workplace safety procedures, and company operational requirements
• Report delivery results, fuel consumption, and any issues encountered during travel to supervisor

About you

• Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent
• Valid B1 General or B2 General driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type
• Minimum 2 years experience as a truck driver or goods delivery driver
• Understanding of travel routes, goods delivery procedures, and traffic regulations
• Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance
• Good physical health and ability to perform goods delivery tasks
• Honest, disciplined, responsible, with good work attitude
• Able to work to delivery time targets and follow company operational schedules
• Careful in inspecting goods, shipping documents, and delivery paperwork
• Willing to travel for deliveries within company operational areas
