Supplier Development Engineer ( Electronics )

About the role

Supplier Development Engineer position reporting to QC Section Manager and QA Manager. The role involves supplier survey, verification of new parts and new part approval, issuing work instructions and quality guidelines for incoming inspection, conducting statistical analysis of nonconforming data to identify trends, and supporting internal quality improvement for material and product while contributing to the organization's goal of achieving Total Customer Satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Strictly follow the GPV Group Code of Conduct
• Ensure compliance with the company's management system, policies and rules
• Qualify supplier and supplier selection scoring and valuate supplier Quality performance
• Improve and develop supplier's performance
• Follow up the corrective action (new part issue) and supplier failure effectively
• Issue quality guideline or any instruction in quality specification related to new part
• Review quality data, investigation root causes and ensure corrective actions are taken
• Follow up quality improvement plan and effectiveness from suppliers
• Disposition inspection rejects-nonconforming of new part with PM
• Stop production to correct quality problem

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanics or Electronic Engineering or related field
• Experience at least 3 years in QA/QC field
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 /TS 16949 requirement and Statistical Quality Control
• Control or understanding of mechanical & electronics drawing and QC
• Problem-solving will be advantage
• Computer literate, good command for English and PC
