Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1.New Model

• Control and develop with suppliers for new component parts, new materials, new tooling, and equipment, including trials for each event.
• Handle documents for New Model APQP, PPAP, and all concerns.
• Conduct QAV at suppliers to ensure readiness before the initial control period.

2.Current model

• Responsible for current parts when quality issues arise, such as customer complaints, in-process problems, or incoming problems.
• Coordinate with suppliers to take corrective actions.
• Follow up on the real root cause, outflow cause, and corrective actions to prepare the quality report (8D-Report) by the due date.
• Monitor quality problems to prevent and address recurrence.

3.Audit supplier & Improvement

• Plan yearly audits at suppliers (System/Process audit) to meet requirements.
• When monthly evaluation scores of suppliers do not meet targets, initiate improvement activities with suppliers to achieve the target.
• Coordinate with audits when selecting new suppliers.

4.Manage the change (4M Change, VA/VE)

• Manage and develop with suppliers when there are changes.
• Handle documents PPAP.
• Conduct QAV at suppliers to ensure readiness before the initial control period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree & Above Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field
• More than 3 Years for automotive or related fields
• Quality Standards: IATF 16949, CQI, VDA (plus).
• Problem-Solving Tools: 8D, Why-Why, Ishikawa, RCA.
• Core Quality Tools: PFMEA, FMEA, APQP, PPAP.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written).
• Have a personal car / driving lincense
