Supplier Quality Development Engineer (m/f/d)

What We Are Looking For

• Plan and coordinate supplier quality activities in cooperation with suppliers and internal departments
• Coordinate and monitor APQP and PPAP activities
• Plan and perform initial sample inspections and support component release
• Plan and conduct supplier process audits according to VDA 6.3
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions and follow up on identified quality issues
• Drive process improvements together with suppliers in a national and international environment
• Monitor supplier quality performance and prepare KPIs and reports for management
• Cooperate closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Production and Project Management
• Support continuous improvement of supplier quality processes

What Qualifications You Should Have

• Technical education or university degree in engineering, quality management or a comparable field
• Additional qualification in quality management / auditing is an advantage
• Several years of experience in supplier quality management, quality management or supplier development
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP and VDA 6.3
• Experience in project management is an advantage
• Structured, independent and analytical way of working
• Strong communication skills and assertiveness
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Good written and spoken English and Romanian language skills

Location: on-site, at our headquarters in Mediaș, Sibiu County. This is a full-time engineering position — remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role. What We Offer You
