Supplier Quality Engineer

Job responsibilities

• Prepare monthly supplier quality performance through incoming inspection and supplier data.

• Communicate with suppliers on day-to-day quality issues and follow up on responses.

• Prepare an inspection plan for the incoming inspection.

• Review supplier completeness and escalate if root cause or corrective actions are inadequate.

• Assist in preparing supplier audits and conducting supplier audits.

• Follow up with suppliers on audit finding closure within agreed timelines.

• Perform new supplier qualification and support the collection and review of documents during new material qualification.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s in science or engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in a manufacturing industry and in supplier quality management
• Proficiency in Microsoft software and well possess in Stactistical Process Control(SPC)
• Proficient in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia."We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers."

• Able to travel occasionally to supplier sites if required
