SCOPE AND PURPOSE

Monitor supplier performance and KPIs, and follow up on improvement actions resulting from claims and audits to ensure suppliers consistently meet company and customer quality requirements.

RESULT AREAS / MAIN ACTIVITIES

• Monitor supplier performance and quality KPIs, including Quality Index (IQ) and Parts Per Million (PPM).
• Manage supplier-related quality claims and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
• Manage supplier non-conformities and coordinate appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct supplier quality audits and follow up on identified findings and improvement actions.
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers regarding non-conformities, quality issues, and required corrective actions.

QUALIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, such as Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, Electrical, or Materials Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Supplier Quality or a related quality function.
• Proven experience in supplier quality, production quality, or manufacturing quality within an industrial or automotive environment.
• Hands-on experience with supplier PPAP approval processes, incoming inspection documentation, measurement programme setup, and report review.
• Practical experience in incoming inspection of supplier components to ensure quality compliance and readiness for release to production.
• Experience in managing non-conforming products, including problem-solving, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and component verification.
• Experience with supplier PPAP submission and approval processes, including document control and release activities, is an advantage.
• Willing and able to work hands-on in a shop-floor environment.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.
