Supplier Quality Engineer (Semiconductor)

• Basic salary up $7000 + AWS + VB + Allowance

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage supplier quality performance and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Qualify and approve new suppliers, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct supplier audits, assessments and process evaluations to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Lead supplier quality issue resolution through 8D, CAPA, RCA, 5-Why and FMEA methodologies.
• Review and approve quality documentation, including Control Plans, FMEA, Process Flow, PPAP/FAI and inspection records where applicable.
• Investigate incoming material non-conformances and work closely with suppliers on corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor supplier KPIs, analyse quality trends and implement improvement plans.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering change management and supplier qualification activities.
• Partner with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Quality teams to ensure a robust supplier quality system.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements and industry regulations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Quality within the semiconductor, electronics, precision engineering or high-tech manufacturing industry.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Supplier audits and supplier development
  • SCAR, 8D, CAPA and Root Cause Analysis
  • Incoming Quality Control (IQC)
  • FMEA, SPC and quality improvement tools

• Familiar with quality management systems such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or other relevant standards.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers.
