Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supplies Assistant to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities

• Assist with order picking and packing to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders
• Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems such as MRP or AS400, ensuring stock levels are precise
• Support shipping and receiving operations by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, inspecting packages, and documenting discrepancies
• Organize warehouse storage areas for optimal space utilization and easy access for order picking and distribution
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse distribution processes and timely order fulfillment
• Perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, packaging measurements, and order quantities to support accurate processing

Experience

• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (such as MRP or AS400) is advantageous
• Certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus
• Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking, and load & unload activities is desirable
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform basic math accurately and efficiently
• Knowledge of e-commerce logistics, packaging standards, and warehouse safety protocols will set you apart
