Permanent | Full-time | North Shore, Auckland
A varied supply chain role in a growing FMCG business
Love variety, keeping things moving and getting the details right? Join House of Fine Foods and play an important role across quality assurance, international shipping, purchasing, suppliers and supply planning.
House of Fine Foods is a family-owned food importer and distributor based on Auckland’s North Shore. We bring a diverse range of quality food products to New Zealand, supplying major supermarkets, department stores, specialty retailers and independent stores across the country.
We’re looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to join our Operations Team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll have a varied role with real responsibility across the supply chain, helping ensure our products are ordered, shipped, planned and delivered efficiently.
You’ll work closely with our suppliers, freight forwarders, 3PL partners and internal teams, making sure the details are right and keeping things moving when there are challenges along the way.
About you
You’re organised, practical and proactive, with the ability to keep calm and focused in a busy environment. You enjoy variety and being part of a team, but are equally comfortable taking ownership and getting things done independently.
You’ll bring:
· A positive, collaborative and can-do approach
· Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
· The ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Good numeracy skills
· Initiative and the ability to work autonomously
· A calm and practical approach to problem solving
· Reliability and a strong work ethic
· A willingness to get involved – no job is too big or too small
· A positive attitude and a good sense of humour
Experience with Microsoft Office is expected, while experience with Accredo or another ERP system would be an advantage. Previous experience in supply chain, FMCG, logistics or administration would also be beneficial.
What you’ll be doing
Working alongside the Supply Chain Manager, your responsibilities will include:
· Supporting the Supply Chain Manager across day-to-day supply chain activities
· Coordinating and maintaining quality assurance requirements
· Processing monthly purchase orders and supporting purchasing activities
· Liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders and our 3PL partners to manage orders and deliveries
· Monitoring shipments and following up on outstanding orders and actions
· Maintaining accurate supply chain, product and QA information
· Building and maintaining positive working relationships with suppliers and internal teams
· Supporting supply planning and forecasting for a selection of brands
· Identifying and following up on issues to help keep stock flowing and plans on track
· Providing wider operational and administrative support to the team as required
What we offer
At House of Fine Foods, we’re a close-knit team where everyone plays an important part. We work hard, support each other and believe there should always be room for a bit of humour along the way.
This is a great opportunity to develop your experience across a broad range of supply chain activities within a fast-moving FMCG environment.
We offer:
· Competitive remuneration
· Birthday leave
· AA Membership
· A varied role with plenty of opportunity to learn and develop
· A supportive and collaborative team environment
Ready to join us?
If you’re organised, proactive, practical and enjoy being part of a team where no two days are quite the same, we’d love to hear from you.
Please send your CV and cover letter to Ineke Rogers, Supply Chain Manager, at [email protected].
