Supply Chain Analyst (Open For Fresh Graduates)

This role generates actionable insights through detailed reporting, trend monitoring, and performance reviews, enabling the business to optimize sales, inventory, and profitability. Responsible for providing comprehensive business and sales analysis to support decision-making across merchandising, budgeting, and distribution functions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct range reviews to assess product assortment effectiveness and identify opportunities.
• Perform budget reviews to monitor performance against financial targets.
• Execute sales analysis to identify root causes of performance gaps and recommend improvements.
• Track and interpret trending data to support forecasting and business planning.
• Analyze fulfilment and distribution performance to ensure operational efficiency.
• Deliver detailed analysis by category and department to guide decision-making.
• Conduct aging stock analysis to identify risks and propose clearance strategies.
• Perform open-to-buy analysis for effective inventory and purchasing control.
• Review buying income analysis to measure supplier contributions and profitability.
• Carry out promotion and seasonal analysis to evaluate campaign performance.
• Maintain and update master data (e.g., product attributes, replenishment indicators, distribution UOM, and inventory records) to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
• Optimize supply chain process flows by identifying inefficiencies, implementing improvements, and supporting operational excellence initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics or Statistics Mathematical or in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply
• An analytical mind and inclination for problem solving with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proficient in Excel, SQL, or BI tools (eg: Power BI, Tableau)
• Attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
