Supply Chain Analytics Specialist

About the role

This role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize supply chain processes and implement workflows to reduce costs. You will develop and maintain supply chain models to support decision making, use statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract meaning from unstructured data, and perform advanced text analysis. You will measure and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance and analyze supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize supply chain processes and implement workflows to reduce costs
• Streamline internal and external supply chain reporting processes to ensure compliance and drive efficiency
• Develop and maintain supply chain models to support decision making
• Use statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract meaning from unstructured data and perform advanced text analysis
• Foster data literacy within the organization by providing training and mentorship to other teams across the company
• Measure and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Communicate and present data-driven analyses and recommendations to colleagues across multiple hierarchy levels
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in supply chain analytics

About you

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in STEM / Natural Sciences, Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain / Operations Research, or related field of study
• Experience in Data Analytics
• Experience in Supply Chain (e.g., procurement, planning, logistics)
• Technical skills: SAP ECC / BW / HANA, SQL / KNIME (or similar data science tool) / Scripting language (python or similar), BI and Visualization (SAC, PowerBI, or similar), AI Tools
