Supply Chain Assistant

About the role

This role encompasses general administration and purchasing support functions, including document dispatch, office consumables management, visitor reception, call handling, meeting room coordination, and purchasing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle courier services for document dispatch and reverse pick-up
• Manage monthly office consumables and facilities services (e.g. pest control, copier machine, water dispenser)
• Safekeeping, proper issuance, and return of office keys to designated storage
• Attend to visitors at the lobby reception when the reception bell is activated
• Answer incoming calls, screen and transfer calls to the appropriate departments or personnel
• Meeting room arrangement
• General office administration and 5S of lobby area
• Handle general purchasing jobs - PRF, PO, Supplier DO and invoices
• Track and follow up on delivery schedules with vendors to ensure timely receipt of goods
• Maintain proper filing of all purchasing and supply chain documents

About you

• Minimum SPM qualification or its equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in clerical, administrative, or supply chain support roles
• Computer literate — proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems
• A diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field is an advantage
• Experience in a manufacturing / automotive environment is an added advantage
