If you’re proactive, detail-focused and keen to improve processes, supplier performance and your own knowledge, we’d love to meet you.

- Communicate regularly with suppliers through meetings, Teams calls and visits where required.
- Provide purchasing forecasts to primary suppliers to support planning and service levels.
- Collect and review supplier performance data, identifying areas for improvement and supporting action plans.
- Work with allocated suppliers to identify risks and implement practical solutions.
Collaboration with Stakeholders
- Participate in regular S&OP meetings to align demand forecasts with business priorities and internal KPIs.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Logistics and other internal teams to ensure all parties are aligned on demand expectations.
- Gather insight from Sales, Product Development, Marketing and Finance to understand activity that may affect demand, including promotions, product launches, market trends and economic shifts.
- Provide insight into future demand trends to support cross-functional planning and wider business strategy.
Demand Forecasting
- Use demand planning software, historical sales data, market trends and other inputs to predict future product demand.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and refine forecasting approaches to improve precision over time.
- Support planning activity that aligns demand, stock availability and financial goals.
- Use customer, supplier and market insight to help inform purchasing decisions and demand plans.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Generate regular reports to assess forecast accuracy, product availability and inventory performance.
- Maintain group-wide reporting activity that measures performance against company strategy and business priorities.
- Report on key measures including product availability, service levels, stock breakdowns, stock volume and value, stock turn and forecast accuracy.
- Provide data-led input to support improvements in purchasing systems, behaviours and decision-making.
Continuous Improvement and Risk Management
- Identify potential risks to demand forecasts, including market volatility, supply chain disruption and changes in customer behaviour.
- Support supplier-specific risk management by working closely with allocated suppliers to implement solutions.
- Recommend improvements to purchasing, forecasting and reporting processes.
- Keep up to date with developments in supply chain and procurement practices, including best practice and new technologies.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across Procurement and the wider business.
What Success Looks Like
