Bringing clarity, rigour, and a solutions-oriented mindset to complex challenges spanning multiple countries and functions. Translate complex operational data into clear financial insight - enabling faster, better, and more confident decisions at every level of the organisation.

Team Purpose

Our Business Finance team sits at the heart of Faerch, working as a strategic business partner to commercial, operations, strategy and other functions to enable faster, better and robust decisions through transparency, integrity and risk assessment. We ensure profitable and sustainable growth by driving financial discipline, maximising cash and capital, and upholding compliance and stewardship.

About Faerch Faerch is a leading supplier of circular, rigid food packaging with integrated recycling capability. We serve food manufacturers, food service providers, and retailers around the world with our network of state-of-the-art production facilities across Europe and the US. Today, more than 5,400 employees are part of the Faerch Group, which is part of the A.P. Moller Holding.

Working at Faerch means joining a purpose-driven company focused on sustainability and innovation. We invest in your growth and offer a supportive, international environment where people thrive

Your Role

As a Supply Chain Controller, you will provide critical financial support to operational and strategic decision-making across our international manufacturing network. You will partner closely with the Group Supply Chain leadership team to deliver financial insight, improve cost and cash efficiency, and help drive performance throughout the supply chain.

What We’re Looking For

You have a solid finance background with a genuine passion for business partnering. You thrive in complex, international environments and know how to translate numbers into insight to draw conclusions and drive action. You’re analytically sharp, have attention to detail, a clear communicator, and comfortable collaborating across functions and borders. Above all, you are a “get up and go” self starter with persistence and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Controller You Will

  • Be a finance business partner to the Group Supply Chain team with a strong focus on cost and cash optimisation. Enabling faster, better, and robust decision making through transparency, integrity and risk assessment. Supporting the identification and implementation of measurable cost and cash improvement initiatives.
  • Lead financial review and analysis of capacity utilisation, S&OP activities and manufacturing footprint optimisation to ensure decision making based on sound financial insight.
  • Production of accurate and timely management reports incorporating review and analysis of variances. Working with stakeholders on areas which require further investigation / attention.
  • Support the Director COO Finance with manufacturing cost reporting and analysis.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience in finance business partnering and cost control, ideally within a manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial environment
  • Strong financial planning and analysis skills, with the ability to produce clear management reporting and forecasts
  • Confident working with large data sets and BI tools to build dashboards and performance reports
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and within a complex international organisation
  • Clear and compelling communicator who can engage both finance and non-finance stakeholders, and navigate between stakeholders

Success in This Role

In your first 6–12 months, you will have built strong, trusted relationships with the Business Finance and Supply Chain team and established yourself as a go-to financial partner. You will have elevated the quality of performance reporting and forecasting for Supply Chain, embedded financial insight into S&OP and footprint decision making, and contributed meaningfully to cost and cash improvement initiative tracking.

Long-term, success means being recognised as someone whose insight genuinely shapes the way Faerch manages and optimises its global supply chain.

Meet the Team

You’ll be joining a high-calibre, internationally minded finance team that works hand-in-hand with supply chain, operations, and commercial colleagues across Europe and the US. The team is collaborative, straight-talking, and driven by a shared commitment to continuous improvement and making a real impact on the business.

Meet Your Manager

You’ll report to the Director COO Finance, who values transparency, analytical rigour, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your manager fosters an environment where you are trusted to take ownership and encouraged to challenge the status quo.

Are you the one we’re looking for?

Do you thrive in a fast-paced, international environment where your financial insight shapes supply chain strategy and drives measurable results ? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
