What they need

About the Business

Crusader Caravans is a successful Australian-owned manufacturer with an outstanding reputation for producing high-quality caravans and delivering exceptional customer service.

Following our move to a purpose-built manufacturing facility in Epping, we continue to experience significant growth and are seeking an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team.

Manufacturing Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00 am–3:57 pm
  • RDO week: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am–3:57 pm, with Friday as the RDO.

About the Role

This is a hands-on supply chain and inventory control role extending well beyond processing stock adjustments.

The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our Pronto ERP system, investigating inventory discrepancies and ensuring materials and components are available to support production requirements.

Working across more than 500 active SKUs and complex Bills of Materials (BOMs), you will collaborate closely with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing and MRP to identify and resolve inventory and supply chain issues.

The maintenance of accurate ERP and inventory data is a critical responsibility of this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage material planning and purchasing through Pronto MRP.

  • Monitor stock availability against production demand and identify potential shortages or excess inventory.

  • Investigate stock variances, negative stock and discrepancies between physical inventory and Pronto.

  • Conduct and coordinate physical stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks.

  • Investigate the cause, value and validity of stock adjustments before they are processed.

  • Investigate incorrect stock receipts, issues, transfers and other inventory transactions.

  • Review BOMs against actual material usage and investigate BOM variances.

  • Maintain accurate ERP master data, including part numbers, units of measure, pack sizes, purchasing information and BOM-related data.

  • Create new part numbers and ensure all required system information is correctly established.

  • Maintain accurate and current Pronto data to support MRP, purchasing, production planning and inventory control.

  • Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, excess and ageing stock to reduce unnecessary working capital.

  • Review open purchase orders and outstanding order reports to identify supply risks.

  • Monitor supplier delivery performance, including late and incomplete deliveries.

  • Support month-end inventory reconciliation and ensure physical stock aligns with system records.

  • Review recurring stock and system issues, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

  • Review and report regularly on inventory accuracy and supply chain performance.

  • Maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.

  • Ensure materials and components are delivered in line with production schedules.

  • Investigate product discrepancies, damages and stock-related concerns.

  • Collaborate with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing, MRP, Design and Quality teams to resolve issues and support product changes and new model rollouts.

Key Reports and Reviews

The Supply Chain Coordinator will regularly review and report on:

  • Negative stock
  • Stock adjustments, including values and reasons
  • Physical-to-system stock variances
  • Slow-moving and obsolete inventory
  • Excess stock
  • Stock ageing
  • Inventory accuracy and cycle-count results
  • BOM variances and actual material usage
  • Open purchase orders and outstanding orders
  • Supplier delivery performance
  • Stock on hand against demand
  • Month-end inventory reconciliation
  • Part master data, including UOMs, pack sizes and purchasing information
