What they need
- We are looking for a self-starter who is fascinated by new technology, enjoys exploring creative approaches to solving data problems, and is passionate about building data pipelines, identifying and fixing data issues, and validating data inputs for supply chain models.
- The role involves supporting data preparation, augmentation, and input/output validation in the platform; designing and developing robust ETL/ELT pipelines; integrating data from multiple sources through manual processes or API connectors; building standardized datasets for supply chain models; converting raw operational data into clean, structured, model-ready datasets; and developing metrics for demand tables, shipment orders, capacity constraints, transportation parameters, lead times, inventory, and related models.
- You will handle missing data, duplicates, outliers, inconsistent master data, and changes in business definitions while applying defined methods and best practices to fill data gaps and improve data quality.
- You will also establish automated data-quality checks and validation rules, monitor completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and uniqueness of critical supply-chain data, maintain data lineage and documentation, and work with client teams to establish definitions and data standards.
- Candidates should have 2-8 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role, knowledge of supply chain concepts and data tables, and experience with platforms such as Alteryx, DataGuru, DataStar, Optilogic, or similar tools.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, dimensional modeling, data warehousing, relational and analytical databases, data quality, and data governance is required.
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is required, with a Masters preferred.
