Supply Chain Design & Development

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Logistics & Warehouse Engineering professional with over 7+ years of expertise in supply chain design, warehouse engineering, manufacturing logistics, and material flow optimization. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end logistics planning, warehouse operations design, SAP EWM/MM implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing and industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Warehouse Engineering

• Design and implement end-to-end logistics systems covering inbound, warehouse, in-plant, and outbound operations.

• Develop warehouse layouts, storage strategies, racking systems, staging areas, and material flow routes.

• Optimize warehouse space utilization and line-side material delivery.

• Plan and implement logistics concepts such as:

• Just-In-Time (JIT)

• Just-In-Sequence (JIS)

• Kanban

• Milk Run

• Kitting & Sequencing

Supply Chain & Material Flow Management

• Define material supply strategies and line-feeding concepts.
• Conduct material flow analysis and containerization studies.
• Manage inventory optimization and logistics cost reduction initiatives.
• Lead intercompany material transfer and supply chain coordination activities**.**

Manufacturing Engineering

• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operator Method Sheets (OMS).
• Conduct process simulations, time studies, line balancing, and productivity improvement projects.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through process planning and documentation.
• Perform PFMEA, risk assessments, and mistake-proofing activities.

SAP & Digital Transformation

• Support SAP S/4 HANA EWM and MM implementation projects.
• Participate in warehouse management system deployment and process integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for digital transformation initiatives.

Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing

• Lead Lean Logistics and Continuous Improvement projects.
• Utilize RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, VSM, MTM, and WCM methodologies.
• Identify and eliminate waste (Muda, Mura, Muri) from logistics and manufacturing processes.
• Drive productivity, quality, and cost improvement initiatives.

Project Management

• Lead greenfield plant logistics setup and warehouse establishment projects.
• Manage project planning, budgeting, manpower planning, and MHE procurement.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Support engineering change management and new product launches.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in Manufacturing Logistics, Warehouse Engineering, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in Automotive, Heavy Equipment, Industrial Manufacturing, or related sectors.
• Hands-on experience in greenfield plant setup and warehouse design.

Preferred Certifications

• SAP S/4 HANA Sourcing & Procurement (MM) Certification.
• SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Certification.
• Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma certification preferred.
