Supply Chain Engineer (Central / AWS + VB / 5-Day Work Week)

Company Overview

We are seeking an analytical Supply Chain Engineer to join our team in Central Singapore. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end procurement planning, component sourcing, vendor negotiations, and ERP/SAP data management to ensure smooth manufacturing workflows and supply chain efficiency.

Job Highlights

• Salary Range: Up to $4500 / month
• AWS & Variable Bonus (VB)
• Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Location: Toa Payoh

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement planning.

• Perform component sourcing based on technical and commercial requirements, evaluating supplier options, lead times, and risks.

• Monitor component lifecycles (EOL, NRND, shortages) and propose mitigation plans or alternative components (MPNs) for cost/supply optimization.

• Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs) aligned with project and production timelines.

• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, delivery commitments, and performance monitoring.

• Support BOM costing, pricing analysis, and review service quotations (soldering, testing, PCB services) alongside Sales and Engineering teams.

• Maintain accurate procurement, PO, and supplier data in SAP.

• Coordinate incoming shipments with freight partners and warehouse teams regarding goods receipt, discrepancies, and stock-takes.

• Monitor inventory levels to highlight potential shortages or excess stock.

• Collaborate with Quality teams on incoming inspection issues, RMA processes, and supplier corrective actions.

• Maintain compliance documentation such as COC and RoHS.

Requirements

• Understanding of electronic components and BOM structure.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
• Knowledge of IPC standards is an added advantage.
