Supply Chain Engineer

About the role

Supply Chain Engineer responsible for production planning, material planning, and inventory control. The role involves coordinating with multiple departments to align customer forecasts, production schedules, and delivery requirements, while optimizing supply chain and operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with Production, Sales, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and other related departments to align customer forecasts, production schedules, and delivery requirements
• Prepare and maintain production plans based on customer demand, production capacity, and material availability
• Review production schedules regularly and adjust plans to minimize delays, equipment downtime, and material shortages while supporting cost efficiency
• Ensure production plans meet customer delivery commitments and inventory targets
• Plan raw material, chemical, and packaging material requirements to support production operations
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock to avoid shortages and excess inventory
• Coordinate with the Purchasing team and suppliers to ensure materials are delivered according to schedule
• Monitor and control slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory to improve inventory performance
• Work closely with Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure proper inventory rotation and FIFO practices
• Handle purchasing activities for both local and overseas suppliers to support business operations

About you

• Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering, petrochemicals, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the supply chain of a chemical/petrochemical plant
• Production planning experience preferred
• Good command of English (TOEIC: 650 up)
• Independent, capable of working well with minimum supervision, and a strong team player
• Open-minded, collaborative, and able to lead a team effectively
• Possess statistical analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Computer literate, ERP system proficient, and proficient in MS-Office
• Able to work at Amata City Industrial Estate, Rayong
