Supply Chain Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production & Supply Chain Assistant Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting the efficient coordination and management of both production and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with production teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, timely delivery of products, and optimal resource utilization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and scheduling of production activities to meet customer demand and production targets.
• Monitor daily production processes to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the production team to resolve any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
• Track inventory levels, production output, and material usage to ensure accurate records are maintained.
• Support the procurement team in sourcing raw materials and components in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Assist in managing relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners to ensure the timely delivery of materials and products.
• Track shipments and deliveries, ensuring materials arrive on time to avoid production delays.
• Maintain accurate supply chain records, including orders, deliveries, and inventory levels.
• Collect and analyze production and supply chain data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and delivery performance.
• Prepare and present regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), production schedules, and supply chain status to senior management.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in production or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to handling challenges.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
