The Supply Chain Executive at HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LIMITED plays a pivotal role in optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery of products to our consumers. This role involves managing inventory, logistics, and supplier relationships to meet demand and maintain high service levels.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Manage inventory levels across various warehouses and distribution centers, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet demand while minimizing obsolescence.
Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance, to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery.
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and resolve any supply chain-related issues.
Utilize data analytics to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed decisions to optimize supply chain performance.
Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and company policies throughout the supply chain.
Participate in cross-functional projects to improve processes and introduce new technologies within the supply chain.
Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance to senior management.

Job Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
2-5 years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or procurement, preferably within the FMCG sector.
Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and demand planning.
Proficiency in supply chain management software (e. g. , SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
