Supply Chain Executive

About the role

Supply Chain Executive role managing daily procurement and purchasing activities for container and modular construction projects, including sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, coordinating deliveries, and monitoring inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily procurement and purchasing activities, including sourcing materials, obtaining quotations and issuing purchase orders.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and payment terms.
• Coordinate the procurement of materials, components and equipment required for container and modular construction projects.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure sufficient materials are available to support operational and project requirements.
• Coordinate deliveries, shipments and transportation arrangements to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Work closely with project, production, warehouse and finance teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues relating to delivery delays, material shortages and product quality.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, quotations, delivery orders, invoices and inventory movements.
• Monitor procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

About you

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
• Relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics or supply chain operations is preferred.
• Experience in the construction, manufacturing, container or modular building industry will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good communication, negotiation, coordination and organisational skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently as well as in a team.
