Supply Chain Executive (Sourcing)

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Identification & Selection: Search, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for active medical components, ensuring they meet strict ISO 13485, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate commercial agreements (price, lead time, T&Cs) to optimize cost (PPV) and minimize commercial risk.
• Active Device Expertise: Manage sourcing for high-precision components, electronics, and sub-assemblies related to active medical devices.
• Supply Continuity Management: Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to prevent production stoppages.
• Supplier Performance Management: Drive supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Quality, Regulatory Affairs (MDA), Engineering, and Logistics teams to approve new components and suppliers.
• Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Execution: Handle purchasing activities within MRP systems (e.g., Kingdee).

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering (Biomedical/Electrical), or related fields.
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant sourcing/purchasing experience in a manufacturing or medical device environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of technical drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and contract negotiation.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and Malaysia Medical Device Authority (MDA) regulations is highly desirable.

Soft Skills: Prefer to understand Mandarin, high-level negotiation, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and proficiency in MRP software.
