What they need

The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with an established manufacturing organization to identify a Supply Chain Lead who will play a key role in supporting daily production operations.

This is a hands-on, build-from-ground-up role, responsible for developing the supply chain processes, planning framework and operational controls required to support production from initial setup and ramp-up through to steady-state manufacturing.

The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Engineering, Procurement and other cross-functional stakeholders to establish production and material planning processes, MRP parameters, BOM readiness, inventory controls, SOPs and material flow, ensuring the manufacturing operation is ready to execute against customer requirements. Beyond the initial setup, the Supply Chain Lead will oversee the day-to-day planning, materials management, customer service and warehouse functions, driving material readiness, production continuity, on-time delivery and inventory performance.

The Job:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including production planning, customer service, material planning, procurement, and warehouse management
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals and growth plans
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective execution across all supply chain functions
  • Drive production continuity and on-time delivery through effective planning, material readiness, and coordination with internal stakeholders
  • Manage inventory levels, optimize warehouse operations, and ensure accurate stock control and working capital efficiency
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track performance across planning, procurement, and logistics functions
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity
  • Lead and develop the supply chain team, including organizational structure, performance management, and capability building
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to support management decision-making and long-term planning

The Talent:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant supply chain experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
  • Prior experience in a high-tech or advanced manufacturing environment - within high-mix, low-volume operations
  • Strong understanding of production planning, MRP, material management, and inventory control
  • Hands-on experience supporting assembly or production operations, including material readiness, shortages management, and build execution
  • Ability to work closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth production flow
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and familiarity with supply chain technologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across functions and priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives, manage complexity, and deliver results in a dynamic environment

Next Steps:

  • Prepare your updated resume and send to [email protected] in MS Word Copy. We would be happy to hear from you!
  • We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
