Supply Chain Management Executive

Summary of the Job: -

Responsible for sourcing and purchasing standard components to ensure material availability, competitive pricing, and on-time support for production and projects.

Job Responsibilities: -

• Source, purchase, and expedite standard mechanical and electrical components to support production and project schedules.
• Obtain quotations, evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
• Monitor material availability, lead times, and supplier delivery performance to ensure on-time supply.
• Develop, evaluate, and maintain relationships with local and overseas suppliers.
• Source cost-effective components from China and other competitive global suppliers to optimize procurement costs.
• Work closely with Engineering to identify alternative parts, new suppliers, and cost reduction opportunities.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Planning to ensure material availability while minimizing excess stock.
• Resolve supplier quality, delivery, and commercial issues in coordination with QA, Engineering, and Finance.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and ERP system information.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in purchasing efficiency, supplier performance, and supply chain operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: -

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of purchasing or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in sourcing standard mechanical and electrical components is preferred.
• Good knowledge of purchasing, supply chain, and inventory management.
• Strong negotiation, sourcing, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Experience sourcing cost-effective standard mechanical and electrical components from China and other competitive global suppliers.
• Familiar with standard industrial components and hardware.
• Experience using ERP systems for purchasing and inventory control.
• Strong analytical, planning, and cost optimization skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
