What they need
Brady Pharma is the exclusive Philippine distributor for one of the world's largest intraocular lens (IOL) manufacturers, alongside a growing portfolio of ophthalmic pharmaceuticals, surgical consumables, equipment, and consumer health lines. We serve ophthalmologists, private and government hospitals, and eye centers nationwide, through both direct field sales and government tenders.
We are profitable, growing, and deliberately lean. This role exists because the business has outgrown the owner running operations personally.
The Role
You will take full ownership of our end-to-end Supply Chain Department; from the purchase order we place with our overseas principal to the delivery of each box to our hospital customers. You'll be responsible for the entire process—not just a single stage, but every step along the way.
This is a build-and-own role, not a maintenance role. While our current processes are functional, they were developed by the founders. You will refine and professionalize them, select the right systems, develop the SOPs, and then lead the operation using the processes you've designed.
You will be responsible for:
Customs and regulatory clearance —brokers, Bureau of Customs documentation, arrival notices, FDA lot release; coordination with our regulatory pharmacist on CPRs and import licenses
Inventory management — strict FEFO discipline on expiry-dated stock, batch/lot tracking, reorder points, near-expiry action plans, stock allocation across channels
Warehouse and fulfillment — receiving, storage conditions, picking and dispatch, delivery receipts, and on-time delivery for hospital accounts and government tender commitments where deadlines carry penalties
Operations reporting — inventory health, landed cost tracking, and supply KPIs reported directly to the VP and CEO.
Team and process building — Foster collaboration across departments to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction. Supervise and develop the operations staff; design the workflows and select the tools we scale on.
Who We're Looking For
Required
5+ years in pharmaceutical or medical device distribution supply chain, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Hands-on importation experience — you have personally managed customs clearance, import documentation, and freight coordination, not only domestic distribution.
Working knowledge of Philippine FDA requirements affecting imported drugs/devices (lot release, LTO/CPR implications for supply).
Experience managing expiry-dated inventory with FEFO controls.
Comfort building processes from scratch — spreadsheets today, better systems tomorrow, chosen by you.
Willing to work on-site in Metro Manila.
Strong Plus
Experience with the India supply corridor (Indian manufacturer lead times, documentation, shipping).
Government tender fulfillment exposure (PhilGEPS-awarded deliveries, NOA/PO timelines).
ERP or inventory system implementation experience.
Other offers great for you!
