Supply Chain Manager

·        Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support construction and mining operations.

·        Manage procurement activities for construction materials, mining equipment, heavy machinery, spare parts, fuel, explosives (where applicable), and other operational requirements.

·        Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with local and international suppliers and contractors.

·        Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to project sites and mining operations.

·        Oversee inventory planning and warehouse operations to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.

·        Coordinate logistics, transportation, and customs clearance (for imported materials and equipment) to support project schedules.

·        Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Finance, and Project Management teams to forecast material requirements and align procurement plans.

·        Monitor supplier performance and implement vendor performance improvement programs.

·        Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize operational disruptions.

·        Negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and service standards.

·        Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, health, safety, environmental (HSE) standards, and applicable government regulations.

·        Analyze supply chain performance through KPIs and prepare reports for senior management.

·        Lead and develop the supply chain, procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to achieve operational excellence.

·        Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

·        Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

·        Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or materials management, preferably in the construction, mining, heavy equipment, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.

·        At least 3–5 years of managerial experience leading procurement or supply chain teams.

·        Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, inventory control, warehouse management, and logistics operations.

·        Experience in sourcing construction materials, mining consumables, heavy equipment, and spare parts.

·        Familiarity with importation, customs regulations, and international procurement is an advantage.

·        Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar procurement and inventory systems).

·        Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.

·        Strong negotiation, strategic planning, and supplier relationship management skills.

·        Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

·        Ability to work in fast-paced environments and support multiple project sites.
